Young artists of color unite for a day of story sharing, creative activities, and breaking of bread. We wish to create a brave space where young people can come together to celebrate one another by sharing their talents in the spirit of friendship with no need for external validation. We will use our art to break down the barriers that often separate our communities. We will use it to create something vital for our personal, spiritual, and creative growth. The day will consist of workshops in all art forms –focusing on story-telling, communicating, and meal sharing. It will culminate in an exhibit/performance.
