With a growing collection of over 1,200 volumes, UW-Madison’s Ibero-American collection holds one of the largest and most comprehensive cartoneracollections in the U.S. This collection is a work in progress, and new titles and resources are added periodically to the print collection, the database and this research guide.

Project Proposal
Abstract: A film & a book. Same title, same story.
Purpose: To tell one story in multiple forms
- Tell an untold story of my own
- Complete story in to book form
- Challenge myself to put story in to a new media, film!
Methodology: Write story, story board, create book & animate with all pieces and digital animative additions plus SOUND!
Desired Outcome: To compose a story of my own in a new media in multiple forms. I hope to inspire someone else to tell their story, to provide a connection, a memory to someone’s culture, history, childhood.
Questions ? Support needed? I’ll need to create a timeline and schedule of deadlines to be able to accomplish this all. Time & space. Any tips or ideas for storyboarding.
